Team Magnum Chassis started in 2000, by Dave
Young along with his two boy's Mike and Chris. Dave
has been involved in quarter midgets since 1985. He
raced all three of his boys and has first hand
watched the sport of Quarter Midgets evolve into
what it is today. Through his love and passion for the
sport Dave decided to use his mechanical ability and
start making Quarter Midgets. Dave wanted to build a
car that he thought would be unique to the sport of
Quarter Midgets, thus making the first Team Magnum
race car for his son Mike. Dave started, and still
makes his Team Magnum Chassis from his 4000 sq ft
manufacturing plant located at 3680 East 5Th Ave in
Columbus, Ohio. Dave and his sons strive to give
their customers the best tech support possible. They
are found at most races in the Region 4 area helping
their Team Magnum cars get to the front. When
asked why Dave puts so much time and effort into
making race cars, He replies by stating "Well.... It's
definitely not for the money, but rather for the
expression on a child or family members face when
they do good, that expression is priceless."
